this is a fun new piece that is a shorter variation of a form i have been playing with. . i have been experimenting with this leg style, their straitness holds the energy in a centered way. having all of the hollow in the front gives it a nesting, and grounding energy while still having the hole out the back to transport you. i am dreaming of making a big version that you can climb up into for a nap. this piece is carved from a single piece monkey pod wood.
