this is a fun variation mixing geometry with the buddy series. i like the tension between the structure of the geometry and the soft flow of the bust. the geometric form is a cuboctahedron, one of buckminster fullers favorite shapes. he called it a vector equilibrium. this piece is grounding, centering and transporting. it is carved from a single piece of monkey pod wood.
