this is a scale model for a bigger public piece i am making. it is mad from a hexagonal prism, first making three icosahedra then carving away into this form. this is one of my favorite shapes. i am sure it has a name in the geomertry world but i have never seen it. it was one of my first explorations into the negative space within the shapes. carved from a single piece of monkey pod.
