hard soft version one of my 30 year obsessions. it is two of the five cubes that interlock inside of a dodecahedron. i have always made the two interlocking cubes out of a single cube, in that way it is not possible to stack them. this piece was carved from a decagonal prism, a process that i did not think was possible at first but seems to be working. it enables this totem version. it is small but has many steps and is very technical to make. carved from a single piece of monkey pod wood.
