this is part of my portal series. if you look at the hole, you’ll notice a soft film across it. to me, it suggests the veil between the mundane and the abstract—a quiet threshold. these pieces are meant to bring you into stillness, and from that stillness, offer passage into something deeper and unknown. carved from a single piece of monkey pod wood.
