this is another version of a piece i made a while back. this one has each layer a little smaller. it all started with the three legged base and then i just reflected it vertically a number of times to make it into a totem. it is one of my favorite style and the direction i am going with my totems. i like its delicate nature and the negative space within it. i am gearing up to make a big one. carved from a single piece of monkey pod wood.
