this is part of my portal buddy series. it brings together the playful legs with the quiet presence of the portal form. if you look at the hole, you’ll notice a soft film across it. to me, it suggests the veil between the mundane and the abstract, a quiet threshold. these pieces are made to bring you into stillness, and from that stillness, offer passage into something deeper and unknown. carved from a single piece of monkey pod wood.
