this is part of my hard soft geometric totem series. it's a series i've been working on for years, rooted in my love of form. there's a tension in the work between geometric structure and soft curved planes. this piece continues that search for balance between the two. the balance feels like masculine and feminine energies, not in opposition, but in harmony. this piece was made to ground and center you, then transport you into the unknown from that place. carved from a single piece of monkey pod wood.
