this is part of my portal buddy series, and also part of the minis collection. it brings together the playful legs with the grounded presence of the portal form. if you look at the hole, you'll notice a soft film across it. to me, it suggests the veil between the mundane and the abstract. these pieces are inspired by the miniature worlds kids create while they play. this is the smallest brass piece i've made so far. i like the idea of them gathering into little families over time. this brass edition is limited to 33 pieces. this piece was made to ground and center you, then transport you into the unknown from that place.
